A Vision for Nursing Students

A Vision for Nursing StudentsAs a new school year begins, NCF students have unique opportunities to care for others.

“God has you on your campus for so much more than just your nursing education,” said Renee Lick, NCF Student Ministries Director. In the video, “A Vision for Nursing Students,” Renee outlines how students can bring their friends and patients to Jesus:

  • PRAY: Ask God to open your eyes as you pray for your campus. Pray faithfully for your friends who don’t yet know God.
  • INVITE: Be bold and invite other nursing students to a Bible study or an NCF outreach event. Share your life with others.
  • BE EQUIPPED: Be prepared to enter into spiritual conversations with your patients and your friends. For a quick reference on giving spiritual care, order the NCF Spiritual Care Cards for your group or download PDF to print.

“Caring for others is close to the heart of God,” Renee said. “Nursing students in our NCF chapters are in a strategic place to care for the spiritual needs of others and bring them to Jesus for healing.” See more of Renee’s vision.

Amen, we were born for such a time as this. I am excited about what God is doing in our profession. He is raising up his people as we yeild to Him.
