Fruitful Crop of NCF Grads

NCF 2012 graduateThe 2012 class of new graduate nurses will be doing much more than working at hospitals and clinics.

“Our NCF alumni are equipped and sent out to care for the spiritual needs of patients as well as their physical and emotional needs,” said Renee Lick, NCF Student Ministries Director. “They will be tangible reminders of God’s presence and healing among those who are hurting and in need of God’s restoration. Our vision is that God will use these students and nurses to be a part of his redeeming work in the world.”

Through NCF campus ministry, more than 2400 nursing students learned what it means to be a follower of Jesus in every area of their lives. They were challenged to see nursing school as an opportunity not only for academic growth, but for purposeful ministry. This year students in 99 NCF chapters were involved in regular Bible study, prayer, and outreach to their classmates as part of a witnessing community in their college of nursing.

We are grateful to God for amazing growth in NCF, a 48% increase from the previous year! Join us in praying for the school year ahead and for God’s transforming work in the lives of students and faculty.

Please consider a donation to NCF Student Ministry to advance God’s Kingdom at schools of nursing in 2012-13.
