Sorry, wrong number!

phone“Is this Home Depot?” I hear this often when I answer my phone. People frequently call our house instead of the store because our phone numbers are almost the same. And sometimes folks seem really frustrated when I tell them they have dialed the wrong number.

Do you ever feel like you’ve dialed the wrong number when you’re trying to reach God? Paul prayed for the Ephesians that the “eyes of their hearts” would be enlightened so they would know the hope of God’s calling, the riches of his glory, and the exceeding greatness of his power. This is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and “seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:18-19).

All we need to do to find God is to open our hearts to him at any time: 60 seconds of every minute, 60 minutes of every hour, 24 hours of each day, and 365 days of every year. So don’t waste any time! Open your heart, your mind and your whole self to God, and let him fill you with all spiritual blessings as you call on the name of the Lord.
